I am so excited to write this review and share the pictures of the product! Lotus Bumz recently sent me the most adorable cloth diaper with matching leg warmers. The best part is that the giveaway they are sponsoring is for the same two products – in either the fish print like I received, or with elephants – depending on availability.
My first impression of the package I received was “wow – this would make an awesome gift for a new baby”. The cloth diaper paired with the leg warmers is absolutely adorable. Both items are “one size fits most”, so you don’t have to worry if you don’t get the baby gift out in a timely fashion – something I am constantly guilty of.
The Leg Warmers:
I have wanted to get some leg warmers for Jonah, but I found of them to be too girly. Then imagine my surprise when I opened the package and saw these orange and teal leg warmers.
My favorite features:
The colors are bright and absolutely perfect for a little boy.
I noticed that the tops and bottoms didn’t seem to have extra tight elastic, so I worried if they would slide off the baby after a while. I put them on Jonah and realized that the entire leg warmer is made of very stretchy elastic throughout, not just in the tops and bottom.
The fit is snug, without being too tight. They stay up on the thighs and do not slouch at the ankles – as mine did in grade school.
The leg warmers will be perfect for crawling babies, even in our South Florida heat. Due to the elastic throughout, you can chose to pull them all the way up to the thighs, or leave them right above the knees – protecting the little mover and shaker once he becomes mobile.
The Cloth Diaper:
The Lotus Bumz pocket diaper came with one microfiber insert. The print on the diaper I received was vibrant and beautiful. I actually have a couple of other Lotus Bumz diapers in my stash, so I know from experience that the vibrant colors last and they do not show wear very easily.
My favorite features included:
The waistband was wide with a double row of ten snaps going across the length of the diaper. The wider band will ensure a comfortable good fit.
The side wings were long and had two sets of two snaps, which will prevent the wings from drooping along the baby’s side.
The rise had three snaps to adjust the size of the diaper. I went with a middle of the road setting for Jonah, and it fit perfectly.
This diaper is a little bit longer and wider than most of my other brands. This feature will come in handy once Jonah is a toddler, the bigger size is always a welcome feature when you have viking babies.
I was happy to be given the opportunity to review the dynamic duo of the cloth diaper paired with the leg warmers. I hope you have enjoyed the review. I only recommend products or services I use personally and believe will be good for my readers.
