They tell you to write about the things that are closest to your heart. Write what you know and love… well, with that in mind, I have decided to start a new series of articles: “How to Love a Toddler from Tantrum to Triumph! & every step in between”. Two of our boys have already sent me through toddlerhood bootcamp, Jansen is in the trenches of it right now and Jonah is coming up behind him – so it is fair to say that I have seen my share of meltdowns, tantrums, night terrors, teething, potty training issues, sibling jealousy, picky eaters and whatever else happens when the world is overwhelmingly big and loud.
I will address the most common concerns and issues parents may run into during the age of 2 to 4 years old. However, I am not a child psychologist, pediatrician or medical professional. I am merely a mom who has “been there, done that”. I welcome comments and questions throughout the series, but please always refer to your child’s pediatrician for concerns that seem out of the norm, keep you up at night with worry, or if your “nagging” motherly intuition tells you that something is off.
