Life After College: Debt Free

Do you remember back in the day, way back to your college days?! Studying until the wee hours, pushing yourself to get the highest grades, writing the best papers and retaining as much knowledge as possible. You dreamt of the big day – your graduation – the day you would finally start to live your life to its fullest, right?!

Fast forward 5, 10, even 15 years… Here we are, grown up, working “real” jobs and raising our own families. Yet so many of us parents have a huge financial burden hanging over our heads. The horrible college loan debt we acquired when we went to college. It’s been years since we graduated and we still haven’t paid it off. It’s a bill we dread paying every single month.

Since it’s a new year, we have decided to set out for a New Year’s resolution, or a goal, if you will. We will set up and organize a prepaid college plan for our children so they don’t have the same dreaded bill to pay after their graduation.

When I attended college, I didn’t have a plan. I didn’t have money saved, and neither did my parents. I wish I did, as it would have helped relieve some financial stress. Of course, you can always open a savings account and save that way, but using that method doesn’t protect you from the constant increase in college tuition, year after year.  I also realize not everyone can just dump a lump sum of money into a savings account.

Despite your circumstances, it is never too late to implement a plan on how to achieve goals to start saving for college. The cost of college tuition increases every year, which makes college planning an overwhelming task for many families. Thankfully, there’s a safe way for parents (and/ or loving relatives) to ensure your child’s education without racking up student loans, by locking in today’s plan prices.

Florida Prepaid College Plan

Florida Prepaid is a trusted name in college planning for Florida families. The program offers five different college plan structures and payment plans, so there is something for every budget and every family.

You can join their program today during the Open Enrollment period, which is open now until February 28, 2018. Just so you know, it should only take about 10-15 minutes to fill out the application—it is not scary or time consuming!

Use code: MAMA1718 for $25 off their application fee.

Remember: The monthly payment will be lower if you lock in the tuition rate this year instead of waiting another year or two. The rate today is the lowest you can get for your child. This will obviously help out in the long run as well.

Sign up for a Florida Prepaid College plan with confidence and feel great knowing that one of your major future life expenses is checked off the list.

It’s so important to plan out your children’s future within your own plans and the Florida Prepaid College Plan is a simple program that can help you achieve that goal you’re working hard to fulfill.

I want to make sure my children have the ability to attend college and to graduate college debt free. Which is why we have chosen the Florida Prepaid College Plan. Now is the time to sign up, so please, make sure you use our code to save $25 off the application fee! MAMA1718
