I have over the past few months had a lot of fun with LEGO Minifigures! I may or may not carry them in my purse, just in case a photo opportunity should present itself. The latest series of LEGO Minifigure blind bags, series # 14 is Halloween-themed and SO much fun! Thank you, LEGO for sending me a few bags before they flew off the shelves! Check out these adorable monster/ Halloween-themed Minifigures, and be sure to follow me on Instagram to take part in their adventures and whereabouts. What is the big deal about LEGO Minifigures, you may ask – I don’t know why you would ask, but just in case you are wondering!

What is the FIRST thing anyone does when they open a new box of LEGO? Regardless of age, we all put the LEGO Minifigure together before we do anything else. Why? Because the little yellow-faced plastic guy (or gal) brings our set to life. All of a sudden we are immersed into their little world where “everything is awesome”. A world where every detail fits together perfectly, and if they have a bad hair day they just switch out their hair, as “Oh Honestly!” so accurately stated in her funny post.
As you can tell from my pictures, in our three blind bags we got the Ghost, the Fly and the Zombie Cheerleader. I have to admit that there were squeals of joy and excitement from the kids, yeah – it was from the kids when we opened the bags.
- The Fly is hysterical and so realistic, in a LEGO-sort of way. The opportunities for his adventures are endless.
- The Zombie Cheerleader has incredible details and fits right into the latest zombie-craze. I feel like I look like her when I wake up in the mornings. Just trust me on it, I will not post any morning-selfies to prove it.
- The Ghost looks almost sad, but he has a great detail on his bottom half. He doesn’t have legs, but rather a gray clear plastic – it’s gives him a floating-spirit-look. It is a genius detail.
The Halloween-themed Minifigures inspired a fun DIY craft idea for you and your kids to do together. I will share all the details in my next blog post, so don’t miss it!
