As soon as Christmas and Valentine’s Day are over, the kids start asking about the Easter Bunny. I have to admit, I also love Easter: the beautiful sunrise church service, the newness of spring in the air, the soothing pastel colors and the most delicious chocolate treats, what is there not to love about Easter. We have a lot of fun traditions in our family for Easter, my favorite is making Easter baskets for the boys. Our kids do not get anything big, but a well-thought-out basket with small meaningful toys are a sure hit on Easter morning. In other words “LEGO Easter baskets” are all the rage in our house!
It is not going to come as a surprise to anyone when I tell you that this year’s theme is LEGO. If memory serves me correctly, it was also the theme last year, the year before and…. the year before that! Legos are everybody’s favorite toy in our house. From our youngest one, all the way to Daddy. Even grandpa was caught one time playing with Legos.
