Valentine’s Day Kids Crafts

One of my favorite things about holidays, especially Valentine’s Day, is creating. Creating and crafting with my kids is the best all the time but for holidays it seems a little extra special. Some of our favorite Valentine crafts are these Kids Valentine’s Crafts or these Easy Heart Crafts. It is exciting for kids to create and then either give their crafts as gifts or decorate the house or classroom with them.

Piñatas are SO MUCH FUN, aren’t they? Typically they are for birthday parties, but who says a Valentine’s Day party can’t come complete with a heart shaped piñata? Kids will enjoy making the piñatas with fun colors and textures. The will of course also like to beat the piñata open to find the treats inside!

Have you ever created with black glue? It is definitely different but it is so much fun. Not only does it add a different color to the project, but it adds texture as well. These black glue hearts were so much fun to make and kids of all ages will enjoy a project just like this.

Bath bombs are incredibly fun. We like to make them for ourselves but they also make super fun and personal gifts! We made these lavender scented heart shaped bath bombs that are perfect for kids to make and give; or use in their own bath! What a fun way to craft for Valentine’s Day!

Cookies are also a fabulous way to create something personal (and delicious) to give on Valentine’s Day. These cookies look just like conversation hearts, which is quintessential Valentine’s Day! These cookies would be perfect to give to neighbors, friends or teachers. Yummy!

Gifts are fun to give but they are even more fun when you can present them in  cute box. This DIY Heart Box is perfect for Valentine’s Day gifts and can be personalized how ever you’d like. Kids will love making these and filling them with special treats!

Bookmarks are one of my favorite simple crafts. These Shower Me With Love bookmarks are just too cute. They are perfect for giving to family members who you truly love. Kids will love making these sweet clouds and choosing colors and shapes to be raindrops. It is just all around fun.

My kids love to knit. It is a fun way to craft to make gifts. These Knitted Hearts are perfect for turning into keychains, bookmarks or even necklaces (And it comes with a free tutorial). These can be personalized with different colors of yarn and beads to make them literally the perfect gift!

Flowers are important on Valentine’s Day. Unfortunately, real flowers die but these super sweet Paper Flowers Craft will never die. These can be kept for years to come and saved for memories down the road. This is a super cute craft for a classroom to do and take home!

Another way to preserve the idea of flowers is with these Heart Bouquets. How fun would this be for kids to make and give to their mom, grandma or anyone who they know loves flowers. It is a super sweet and easy craft that kids can personalize with love in mind.

Bubble Wrap is also another fun to stamp with paint. These Bubble Wrap Printing Cards are so cute and the bubble wrap makes an adorable pattern on the card. These homemade cards will be the hit of the holiday for sure!

These Kids Crafts For Valentine’s Day are a perfect way to celebrate the special day. Kids can make these crafts for decorations, as gifts for people they love and appreciate or just to have fun Valentine’s Day creative time.
