Make Christmas More Fun With These DIY Advent Calendars:
I think we can agree that the excitement for Christmas and the whole Christmas season easily starts to build somewhere between the day after Christmas and the first day of school. We try to put off getting to consumed by it until we have had a frightfully good Halloween, and an appropriately thankful Thanksgiving – but let’s face it. As soon as the leftovers from the bounty have been put away, it’s time to allow ourselves and our little ones to indulge in the spirit (and the anticipation) of Christmas.
Of course, one of the most popular ways to build that excitement is with an Advent Calendar, and there are many, many store bought options to get you on your way to the Christmas countdown. However, for those of you who like to get a little more hands on, and have a festive crafty streak, here are over a dozen DIY Advent Calendar ideas to fuel your fire.
