As most of our readers know by now, we have a new baby in the house! My life right now revolves around nursing, burping (the baby that is, not me), watching him nap (because who doesn’t love to marvel at their newly created baby) and changing diapers… LOTS of diaper changes!

I started cloth diapering with Jansen (2) when he was about 9 months old. So this is my first newborn cloth diapering experience. I was a little hesitant to go buy a whole new stash of diapers in newborn sizes, very well knowing that the babies in our family exceed the “normal” newborn sizes. Instead I just bought standard cloth diapers in my favorite brands – thinking I might have to wait a little while before they would fit Jonah. But… when those cloth diapers say “one size”, apparently they really mean ONE SIZE… We have been using cloth for the past week with the baby and everything has been going great!

I was really excited to break out my favorite brand of diapers that I bought from Greenpath Baby, Lalabye Baby diapers! The prints and colors they offer are every cloth diapering mom’s dream! The colors are vibrant and the prints are fun, stylish and so adorable that you get the “must have” feeling when you see them.

Greenpath Baby has generously provided us with a diaper to giveaway to our readers featuring the adorable print called “To the Rescue”. Bright blue background, with red and yellow firetrucks and construction vehicles. This print screams “BOY” and is so adorable. I have taken a picture of Jonah wearing his “To the Rescue” diaper – not to worry, we are giving away a brand new – UNUSED diaper! – that’s how we roll!

So why do I love Lalabye Baby diapers?

First and foremost, their sizing in amazing – the exact same diaper fits on my newborn baby (9lbs 8oz) as on my toddler (35lbs)! Perfect fit for both boys without any uncomfortable red lines.

The softness of both the interior suede cloth and the four-layer bamboo! Both fabrics are incredibly squishy (I think that is the technical term), even after a year of continual use. Their softness rival that of your baby’s bottom!

The diaper’s design and construction! Every detail on the diaper is purposefully designed with function and comfort in mind. The rainbow colored snaps are adorable, but also make it easier for caregivers to know how tight to fasten the diaper. The hip snaps and double rows ensure a perfect customized fit – and prevent side leakage (and we can all agree that’s a good thing).

The inserts snap into place in both the front and the back (upgraded feature in the 2.0 version), allowing you to use the diaper as either a pocket or an AI2. The snaps ensure that there is no shifting of the inserts. When the inserts stay in place, most diaper disasters are avoided, even when the wearer is an active wiggly toddler.

The Lalabye Baby diapers are made of high quality products, which you can tell the minute you hold one in your hands. I hope you will enter our quick giveaway at a chance of winning your own Lalabye Baby diaper.
