It’s apparently real – and here to stay… my nesting instinct has kicked into high gear!

Tonight alone is a great example of the lack of rationale behind my behavior! I came home from work – exhausted after a long productive day at the office. I started homework with Jacob, while I played with the two little ones. I couldn’t help but doze off a few times on the couch – that is what a mixture of pregnancy and narcolepsy will do to you. Dada came home and ever so sweetly made dinner for us. I was almost too tired to eat, but made my way through the meal like a champ – mainly because there was food in front of me, so of course it had to be eaten. We cleared the table – and then I decided, as ANY rationale pregnant woman would (that’s an oxymoron all in its own) that it was time to clean out our freezer!

WHAT?! WHY?! Granted, yes, it was in need of a little purging, organization and wiping – but WHY NOW…?! So any way – after getting rid of a few odds and ends, some frozen breastmilk that was WAY too old for anyone’s consumption and several bottles of frozen water just taking up space, I am glad to announce that our freezer is ready to be stocked for the holidays!

I can already tell that my next victim/ project/ obsession is going to be the invasion/ explosion of Lego bricks and pieces in the boys’ room! IKEA HERE WE COME!

WhatToExpect.com has a great article on the topic of nesting and how to channel your last burst of energy into something productive!
